Dr. Wang is the director and founder of The Integrative Medicine Center in Ithaca, New York where she houses her practice.
Before coming to the United States, She was a teaching physician at Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from 1980-1983 and then served as Chief Medical Administrator of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 1983-1987. In the early 2000s, Dr. Wang directed the development of the largest TCM database in the United States.
Dr. Wang received her medical degree in Oriental medicine from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and her Ph.D. in research advancement in Oriental medicine from the College of Alternative Medicine Research Advancement, AGU. In 2007, Dr. Wang was one of the six overseas practitioners worldwide to be awarded the title of Doctor of Chinese Medicine, Physician in Chief, by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies.
